Shinigami-sama, perhaps it would not be a bad idea to let Spirit-sensei and I attempt to train the students here? I think they'd provide a great use to the area. Although there's not too much we can do, what with Kid lacking both his partners and Black*Star and Tsubaki retaining their chips, I still think we can get them to learn a little more--especially due to the fact of the possibility that Arachnophobia could appear just as likely as more of the students.

What do you two think about this?

( OOC: pfft SORRY ;;; I have no creativity when it comes to Marie right now so I totally just borrowed a page from the manga for having something for her to do. ;;; orz )

[ The communication already starts off with a mezzo-soprano voiced woman. A little bit shaky, but growing with more confidence as the feed goes on. ]

I've been here for quite some time, I suppose, and I'm finally getting my bearings about this place! Sort of. I still don't really know how to get home that well or anything, but--well, I sort of recognize some things ...

Anyways! I feel like I've been so lazy and just listening to this thing all day isn't enough for me. Besides, it's not like I have a husband I can help relax at the end of the day or take care of our children or something useful. So instead, if there is something that can be done--I'll gladly offer a hand!

I think I'll try and make dinner tonight for everyone. It's the least I can do ...  [ The next bit, she begins to falter.  She knows things with Death the Kid aren't exactly the most atypical and that her involvement would be as good as throwing water on a grease fire, so, until she can help, she tries to play a supporting role for her students and superior, Shinigami-sama. ]

I know you've all been working really hard with--um. A certain--situation--so, everyone--let Marie-sensei make you all dinner tonight! I'll make sure it's delicious so you can all get your strength back.  Maybe I'll make something like--

[ The communication cuts off there as Marie absent-mindedly clicks it off. ]

[ Filtered away from her students (Black*Star, Tsubaki, Death the Kid, Chrona, Maka, and Soul) ]

[ The post starts off with a three second silence before the speaker begins.  Her voice is firm and almost motherly, yet, it is clear she is pleading for assistance. ]

I want this stupid thing out now. I've been sitting here for long enough being unable to do something and well--I don't like it if my students can do more than I can. I need to be able to help them.

What good is a teacher if she can't protect her own students? No teacher wants to put her students' lives at risk because they have to protect their teacher.

This is Marie Mjolnir and if anyone can help me get this stupid chip thing out--well, I'd be really grateful and I'm willing to do something in return. Just please let me be able to help protect my students again as a Death Scythe, that's all I ask! Thank you.

[ The communication ends as Marie turns it off. ]

[ The communicator opens to a pouting adult woman with her chin on her hands as she sits on a chair. Her voice is soft and before she begins to speak, she huffs. ]

I just wanted to get married and retire from this, that's all. That's all I've ever wanted.

[ Her voice dips lower to almost a mumbling tone. ]

I miss BJ. If he were still around, we could've at least had dinner together ...

[ The video and audio remain steady until it shuts down by timing out. ]

... I don’t think this is the wrong way. I-I-I was certain that this was the right way! I thought—

[ Marie is silent for a few moments before anyone can hear what sounds like a sigh and a tone of dejection in her voice. ] I thought that someone might be this way.

Regardless, [ Marie’s tone changes to a more determined voice, and her fist pounds down upon an open palm gently; the skin contact audible. ] I’ll find my way back, work hard, get a husband, and then retire forever! I refuse to become an old, unmarried spinster!

Mmmm, maybe it was—no! I’m still right, I’ll find my way, and I’ll— [ The transmission ends. ]
